1 ^aHear my cry, O God;
^bGive heed to my prayer.
2 From the ^cend of the earth I call to You when my heart is ^dfaint;
Lead me to ^ethe rock that is higher than I.
3 For You have been a ^frefuge for me,
A ^gtower of strength ^{▼▼ Lit from}against the enemy.
4 Let me ^{▼▼ Or sojourn
,} ^jdwell in Your tent forever;
Let me ^ktake refuge in the shelter of Your wings. ^{▼▼ Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude}Selah.

5 For You have heard my ^mvows, O God;
You have given me the inheritance of those who ⁿfear Your name.
6 You will ^{▼▼ Lit add days to

His years will be as many generations.
7 He will ^{▼▼ Or sit enthroned}abide ^sbefore God forever;
Appoint ^tlovingkindness and truth that they may preserve him.
8 So I will ^using praise to Your name forever,
That I may ^vpay my vows day by day.
